If you've been playing The Division, chances are you're getting close to level 30. Once you hit level 30 and start the endgame stuff, you'll be on the lookout for phoenix credits.
Thus far the main way to get phoenix credits is by doing daily missions, or by defeating the tougher named elites in the Dark Zone. Well, sites everywhere have sort of latched on to one spot to farm Phoenix Credits: starting from the safe house Autumn's Hope, leave the safe house and take an immediate right. Go left when you hit the street and keep straight. Soon you'll come across a group of enemies, with one named enemy. FOCUS ON HIM. If you kill all his cronies they'll likely never respawn again. Kill the boss, let his punks kill you, respawn at the safe house, rinse repeat. Each kill should net you 3 credits which better mathematicians than I have deduced comes out to ~150 credits an hour.
Now, on to the real reason I'm posting this. I don't normally care to regurgitate news others have posted unless it's something substantial, like TheDivision's incoming Incursions. What I really wanted to tell you all is that I've found another spot to farm Phoenix Credits, for those that didn't get the "Don't kill all of them" memo before everybody knew it was good for farming.
I've spent the last few hours scouring the city for another named elite and have finally found one. In Gramercy, on E 23rd between 1st and 2nd Ave there's an impound lot where a named elite, Cpl Wright and his gang spawn. He spawns with 2 red bar enemies and one purple enemy. The best strategy I've seen, kill his red bars, ignore the purple bar, as he fights less than the others, and take out the Cpl. Once you've done that, collect your (usually) 2 Phoenix Credits and let the purple kill you. It's a bit of a run back to the lot but if you haven't any other way to farm Phoenix Credits quickly, it's worth it.
I'll be continuing to search Manhattan for other named enemies to gun down for their credits and I'll be sure to let you all know if I find any.
